Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Luxi or its website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service.

Service

Luxi is a local-first desktop AI agent. The website provides accounts, software downloads, update information, and product feedback. The product is evolving, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

Accounts and feedback

Keep your website credentials secure and take responsibility for activity under your account. Feedback must be lawful and must not contain another person's sensitive data, malicious code, spam, or material that infringes third-party rights.

Local models and tools

Luxi can connect to local models, files, Shell, and third-party tools. You are responsible for deciding whether models, tools, commands, and artifacts are appropriate, and for reviewing sensitive actions and maintaining backups. AI output can be inaccurate and should not replace professional judgment.

Downloads and updates

Download only from luxi.dougoos.com, download.luxi.dougoos.com, or an explicitly listed mirror. Version 0.3.0 is the first release with in-app updates; earlier versions require a manual installation of 0.3.0. Update signatures are verified, but you should still save important work before updating.

Paid features

Pricing, subscriptions, billing, payments, and credits are currently disabled. If paid features are introduced, applicable prices and additional terms will be shown before purchase.

Intellectual property and licenses

Luxi, its website design, name, and related content are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Rights in source code and third-party components are governed by their accompanying licenses. These Terms do not grant rights beyond those licenses.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luxi is provided as-is, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. Liability that cannot lawfully be excluded remains unaffected.

Termination and changes

We may restrict website account access for violations or security threats. You may stop using the client and contact us about your account. Material changes will be indicated by the updated date and an appropriate notice.
